Danielle Chuchran: Mormon Actress
Danielle Chuchran is a film and television actress. She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She was born on June 9, 1993, in Upland, California, and moved to Utah before her first birthday. At the age of five, she placed first in a Hawaiian Tropic beauty pageant. She began appearing in print ads and an agent noticed her in a dance class, so she moved back to California at age ten to pursue a career in acting.
She appeared in Little Secrets (2001) at the age of eight. In the 2003 Dr. Seuss’s The Cat in the Hat, she played Thing One. Other films she has appeared in include Saving Sarah Cain, Minor Details, Haunt, and Love Finds You in Charm. She starred in The Wild Stallion and Christmas for a Dollar.
She has also appeared in television programs such as "The District," "Crossing Jordan," "Without a Trace," "ER," "Body of Proof."
She said in an interview with the Deseret News, “Every time I’m choosing a role, I think, ‘Could my dad watch this?’” Could my cousins watch this and be comfortable?’ That’s my test.”[1]
