Dean Hale: Mormon Author

Dean Hale has co-written two graphic novels with his wife, Shannon Hale: Rapunzel's Revenge and Calamity Jack. Together they wrote the The Princess in Black series, with titles The Princess in Black, The Princess in Black and the Perfect Princess Party, The Princess in Black and The Hungry Bunny Horde, and The Princess in Black Takes a Vacation. He also wrote Scapegoat.

He contributed to Shannon’s Ever After High series and Spirit Animals Book 4: Fire and Ice and they cowrote two books about Marvel's Squirrel Girl; a young Wonder Woman book for DC entitled Diana, Princess of the Amazons.

He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The Hales have four children.
