J. Kent Jolley

J. Kent Jolley served as a General Authority of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as a member of the Second Quorum of the Seventy from April 1997 to October 6, 2003. He also served as bishop, stake high councilor, counselor in a stake presidency, Young Men president, and full-time missionary. He presided over the Texas Corpus Christi Mission.
Jolley was born on December 30, 1933, in Rexburg, Idaho. He earned his bachelor’s and juris doctorate degrees from George Washington University. He worked as an attorney, county prosecuting attorney, and real estate developer.
He and his wife, Jill, are the parents of seven children.
