Jimmy Montanero

Jimmy Montanero is a retired professional soccer player. He earned 17 caps (international matches played in) for the Ecuador national team between 1989 and 1993. He played for Barcelona Sporting Club from Guayaquil for 20 years and was team captain for most of that time. He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and during his career he was widely known as "El Mormón."
