Jon Clark, also known by his pen name J. D. Clark, is a full-time, award-winning composer of music for television programs, and in his spare time he is a cartoonist. He has also published several children’s books.

Clark has composed music for lifestyle networks such as HGTV. He writes music for the themes as well as commercials for the shows. His cartoons have appeared in the New Era, Highlights, Sunstone, Mormon Times online and others. He got his start as an editorial cartoonist for several newspapers near his home of Knoxville, Tennessee. He is the creator of the "Honest Jon" series, a comic that features humor appealing to members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, of which he is a member. His work also appears on Pinterest.[1]

He is the author of the Anna Hosanna series and When High Priests Take Over the Nursery. He has also created greeting cards for his Latter-day Saint market.

Clark and his wife are the parents of four children.
