Michele Vasconcelos
Jennifer Michele Murphy Vasconcelos is an American soccer player. During her professional career, she has played for Real Salt Lake Women (United Women’s Soccer league), Chicago Red Stars, Utah Royals, Kansas City, and Sevilla in the Premera Division (on loan for one season).
She was drafted by the Chicago Red Stars with the 11th pick in the 2017 NWSL College Draft; however, she missed the entire season because she was pregnant with her first child. She debuted with the Chicago Red Stars on March 25, 2018. She missed part of the 2018 season with a torn ACL and meniscus.
Michele received a call-up to the United States Under-23 Women’s National Team for a training camp in November 2017.
She played for Brigham Young University from 2012 to 2016 and was the West Coast Conference Player of the Year in her senior season.
Michele is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She is married to Pedro Vasconcelos and they have a daughter, Scarlett.
