Mike Kennedy

Mike Kennedy is a U.S. Representative from Utah's 3rd congressional district. He served from 2021 to 2025 in the Utah Senate as well as the Utah House of Representatives from 2013 to 2019. He previously ran for the U.S. Senate, but although collecting the most votes at the Utah State Republican Convention, he lost to Mitt Romney in the primary election.
Kennedy earned his bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University. He holds a MD degree from Michigan State University and a JD degree from BYU's J. Reuben Clark Law School and has been in family medicine for a number of years in Utah.
Kennedy and his wife, Katrina, are the parents of eight children. He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
