Brian K. Taylor
Brian K. Taylor was sustained as a General Authority Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on April 1, 2017. He had been presiding over the Texas Dallas Mission at the time of his call. He also served in the Church as an Institute teacher, a high councilor, a stake president, and a ward Young Men president. He served a full-time mission in the Spain Seville Mission.
Taylor was born on April 15, 1964 in Ogden, Utah. He received his bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University and was cofounder and CEO of a software company that serves the 911, public safety, and homeland security agencies.
He and his wife, Jill Featherstone Taylor, are the parents of seven children. She is the only daughter in a family of seven children belonging to Elder Vaughn J. Featherstone, and his wife, Sister Merlene Featherstone.
