John Fetzer

John Fetzer Sr. was a Utah architect.

He was born on 30 October 1882, in Nassenfels, Eichstätt, Bavaria, Germany, to Johann Peter Fetzer and Anna Maria Seyfert.

He married Margaretha Baer on 21 November 1905, in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah. He died on 6 June 1965, in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah, at the age of 82.

He and Lewis T. Cannon operated the architectural firm Cannon & Fetzer from 1909 to 1937. A number of its works are listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. For a brief time between 1910 and 1915, the firm was named Cannon, Fetzer & Hansen after partnering with Ramm Hansen. Many of their works survive and are listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

Fetzer's son Emil was also an architect.
