Talk:Jacob 5
Very interesting, Dumbcomputer (do you have a real name?). Can't wait to see this article unfold.Gboyd 15:21, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
Ok, I am done. By the way I don't just randomly love Jacob 5, I was preparing a Gospel Doctrine lesson and thought I would use it as a catalyst for this page. I definitely understand Jacob 5 a lot better. Dumbcomputer 00:49, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
Excellent job. I added a link to Jacob 5 at lds.org, and one apostrophe. I can't figure out why your un-capitalized word, millennium, linked with an article. Perhaps it's the browser. At work I use Mozilla Firefox, and at home I use internet explorer. It's a puzzle, and I don't have the technical expertise to understand it.Gboyd 02:44, 23 March 2008 (UTC)
In Wikipedia an uncapitalized word will link to the same word capitalized of an article title, the same as it does in MormonWiki. It is only the first character that is case insensitive. For example, mIllennium with the second letter capitalized doesn't link. Rickety 03:30, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
Yes, and that's the problem! I'm making a choice between searching out the original article I want to link to, or trying -- Pre-Mortal Life, Pre-mortal Life, Pre-Mortal life, Pre-mortal life -- until I get it right. Only the first one works, by the way. Another problem is that MormonWiki alphabetizes in the articles list giving priority to caps. If you look on the "m" page under Mormon, you'll see that there's one alphabetical list and then another, the first with titles with two capitalized words, and the second with only a first word capitalized. No biggy, just irritating.Gboyd 15:28, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
Now they all link to the page :) Dumbcomputer 16:32, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
Wow. Cool.Gboyd 17:50, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
