[[Zenock]] was a [[prophet]] of [[Israel]] in [[Old Testament]] times who is mentioned only in the [[Book of Mormon]]. He prophesied that [[Christ]] would yield himself to be crucified ([http://scriptures.lds.org/en/1_ne/19/10-#10 1 Nephi 19: 10]). He spoke and testified of the [[Christ | Son of God]] and that [[redemption]] comes through Him ([http://scriptures.lds.org/en/alma/33/15-#15 Alma 33: 15] and [http://scriptures.lds.org/en/alma/34/7-#7 Alma 34: 7]).  When the people did not understand his words, [[Zenock]] became a martyr for the truth ([http://scriptures.lds.org/en/alma/33/17-#17 Alma 33: 17]). He prophesied concerning the coming of the [[Messiah]] ([http://scriptures.lds.org/en/hel/8/20-#20 Helaman 8: 20]).
