Brian K. Taylor was sustained as a General Authority Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on April 1, 2017. He had been presiding over the Texas Dallas Mission at the time of his call. He also served in the Church as an Institute teacher, a high councilor, a stake president, and a ward Young Men president.
Taylor was born in April 1964 in Ogden, Utah. He received his bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University and was cofounder and CEO of a software company that serves the 911, public safety, and homeland security agencies.
