Cheryl A. Esplin was called to be the Second Counselor in the general Primary presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in April 2010 and served until April 2016. She was born and raised in Lovell, Wyoming. She graduated from Brigham Young University in elementary education. She and her husband, Max Esplin, are the parents of four sons and one daughter and the grandparents of nineteen grandchildren.
