John Hilton III is an assistant professor in religious education at Brigham Young University. He is also an author of several books primarily geared toward teen readers. His titles include, Please Pass the Scriptures; I Can Do Hard Things; I Lost My Phone Number, Can I Have Yours?; The Compare Dare; The Dog Ate My Scriptures; You Are What You Speak: Why Choosing Your Words Matters; and Dating and the Plan of Happiness. With Anthony Sweat he wrote How?: Essential Skills for Living the Gospel; Why?: Powerful Answers and Practical Reasons for Living LDS Standards; The Big Picture; and Q&A: Common Questions and Powerful Answers for LDS Youth. He contributed to Armor Up!, Suit Up!, and 52 Life-Changing Questions from the Book of Mormon.
