The Tampico Mexico Temple is the 83rd operating temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
History
The first Latter-day Saint temple in Mexico was built in Mexico City in 1983. By 2006, just twenty-two years later, the number had increased to twelve temples. The Tampico Mexico Temple was the sixth temple to be dedicated in Mexico. By the end of 2024, twenty-six temples are operating, under construction, or in planning stages in Mexico.
