Mormon Susan W Tanner
Susan W. Tanner was the Young Women General President from 2002 to 2008. She is the daughter of Richard and Barbara Winder. She and her husband, John S. Tanner, have five children and five grandchildren. She graduated from Brigham Young University in Humanities. Her favorite roles are wife, mother, and homemaker.

Tanner is a former president and counselor in all of the women's auxiliaries (Relief Society, Young Women and Primary), on both the ward and stake levels. She has also been a curriculum writer for the Primary organization. Prior to her call as Young Women General President she was serving on the Relief Society General Board.
