Cristina B. Franco served as second counselor in the Primary general presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from April 1, 2017, to April 3, 2021. At the time of her call, she was serving with her husband as he presided over the Argentina Resistencia Mission. She continued to serve with him until they were released in July 2017. She served on the Primary general board from 2005 to 2010.

She was born in 1958 and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Her family joined the Church when she was three years old. After graduating from high school, her family moved to Utah and she assisted in the family watch business for nearly thirty years.

She and her husband, Rodolfo, are the parents of three sons.

In November 2020, the members of the Relief Society, Young Women, and Primary general presidencies of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints launched official Instagram accounts to expand their global ministries. The Church leaders’ use of social media platforms demonstrates a desire to connect with members around the world using technology. [1]
