Cristina B. Franco was sustained as second counselor in the Primary general presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on April 1, 2017. At the time of her call, she was serving with her husband as he presided over the Argentina Resistencia Mission. She will continue to serve with him until they are released in July 2017. She served on the Primary general board from 2005 to 2010.
She was born in 1958 and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Her family joined the Church when she was three years old. After graduating from high school, her family moved to Utah and she assisted in the family watch business for nearly thirty years.
She and her husband, Rodolfo, are the parents of three sons.
