The Benin City Nigeria Temple will be the third temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints built in Nigeria. President Russell M. Nelson announced its construction during the 190th Annual General Conference in April 2020.
Church membership in Nigeria is over 211,000 in 758 congregations.
