The Cape Coast Ghana Temple is the third temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to be built in Ghana. The first, the Accra Ghana Temple, was dedicated in 2004. President Russell M. Nelson announced plans to build the Kumasi Ghana Temple in April 2021.
Cape Coast is in the south-central region of Ghana and is one of the country’s most historic sites. There are 100,000 Latter-day Saints in more than 350 congregations in Ghana.
Location
The Cape Coast Ghana Temple is currently in the planning stages. No location has been announced.
