- As of 25 May 2025, there are 206 dedicated temples. Temples under various stages of construction number 55—some of which are scheduled for dedication. There are 121 temples that have been announced (not yet under construction) for a total of 382 temples. Of the 382 total temples, 200 have been announced by President Russell M. The following temples are currently undergoing extensive renovations: Salt Lake Temple, Stockholm Sweden Temple, San Diego California Temple, Provo Utah Rock Canyon Temple, Manhattan New York Temple, Anchorage Alaska Temple, Kona Hawaii Temple, and the Orlando Florida Temple.
- Fifteen new temples were announced by President Nelson during the concluding session of the April 2025 general conference. The temples will be built in the following locations: Reynosa, Mexico; Chorrillos, Peru; Rivera, Uruguay; Campo Grande, Brazil; Porto, Portugal; Uyo, Nigeria; San Jose del Monte, Philippines; Nouméa, New Caledonia; Liverpool, Australia; Caldwell, Idaho; Flagstaff, Arizona; Rapid City, South Dakota; Greenville, South Carolina; Norfolk, Virginia; and Spanish Fork, Utah.
- President Nelson announced seventeen new temples in the final session of the October 2024 general conference: Juchitán de Zaragoza, Mexico; Santa Ana, El Salvador; Medellín, Colombia; Santiago, Dominican Republic; Puerto Montt, Chile; Dublin, Ireland: Milan, Italy; Abuja, Nigeria; Kampala, Uganda; Maputo, Mozambique; Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; Queen Creek, Arizona; El Paso, Texas; Huntsville, Alabama; Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Summit, New Jersey; and Price, Utah.
- President Nelson announced fifteen new temples in the April 2024 general conference: Uturoa, French Polynesia; Chihuahua, Mexico; Florianópolis, Brazil; Rosario, Argentina; Edinburgh, Scotland; Brisbane Australia South Area; Victoria, British Columbia; Yuma, Arizona; Houston Texas South Area; Des Moines, Iowa; Cincinnati, Ohio; Honolulu, Hawaii; West Jordan, Utah; Lehi, Utah; Maracaibo, Venezuela.
